Case Study: Starbucks (Gainesville, GA.)
For our next case study we head to Gainesville, GA. where a Starbucks was in need of assistance. They needed to have crisp and bright security lighting around the perimeter of their building, specifically the drive-through, and they needed to fit within the confines of strict city codes including well lit doorways. But they did not want to bother their neighbors or have light bleed out onto the roadways. Luckily, WallPacksDirect had exactly what they were looking for: the WPD DWP80. This fixture combines the light throw pattern of a "forward throw" wall pack and a "full cut-off" wall pack to create the exact effect that Starbucks wanted. The marriage of the two types of fixtures provided them with hard security lighting that would illuminate the area directly in front of the building as well as cover the whole drive-through. The DWP80 provides the customer with a 250W-320W equivalency at a fraction of the power with a pull of 81W. This will save the Starbucks thousands of dollars on their annual electric bill. Its sleek design was a major plus for the Starbucks aesthetic as well. It is a low-profile fixture that comes out just over 5 inches from the wall. But don't let its good looks deceive you. The DWP80 features a heavy-duty die-cast aluminum housing and is sealed with a tempered glass lens, which gives the fixture a life-span of 50,000+ hours in any weather condition. And to prove how much we stand behind our house-brand fixture, we put our own WallPacksDirect 5 year limited warranty on it. Look at what these DLC Qualified fixtures did for the largest coffee company in the world!
